Do you accept insurance?

Ananda Physical Therapy Wellness is not contracted with any insurance companies. We are considered an out-of-network provider. We will provide you with an invoice/superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We do not take Medicare or Medicaid. Wellness services are usually not reimbursable by insurance companies.

Please use this form InsuranceBenefits.pdf to determine your out-of-network physical therapy benefits. Our main focus is to get our clients better without the restraints of insurance companies or third party payers.

How much and how long are the sessions?

$185. for a 55 min session.

Why is it expensive

Dr. Maria’s skillset is very unique. Her formal studies to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy took 7 years of schooling at New York University. She continues to take multiple continuing education courses to expand and evolve her skills.

She can often get to the root cause of the issue. She is extremely efficient, and most patients see a change within 6 sessions or less. She spends the entire session with each client.

Can I use my health savings account or FSA Credit card?

Yes.

What forms of payment do you take?

Cash, Checks, Venmo, Zelle, & All major credit cards.

Do I need a referral?

You don’t need a referral for the first session and for 10 consecutive business days within your first session. However, after that period, you will need a Physical Therapy prescription from your Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Chiropractor, or Dentist as per the State of Texas PT practice act. You do not need a prescription for a wellness visit or a virtual session.

What should I bring to the session?

  • Completed intake form. Intake form PDF
  • Attire: Since MFR is done directly on the skin, please refrain from wearing lotion or oils prior to the session For comfort, women usually bring a 2 piece bathing suit or sports bra and shorts, or underwear
 and men usually bring shorts or swimming trunks.
  • Prescription for PT if applicable.
