Ananda Physical Therapy follows CDC guidelines regarding Covid-19:
- Dr. Maria wears a KN95 mask at all times in the clinic and she asks her clients to wear a mask at all times during treatment.
- Dr. Maria follows CDC handwashing guidelines.
- Patients are asked to sanitize or wash their hands prior to entering the treatment space.
- Patients are asked to leave their shoes outside the treatment area.
- There is a 15 min gap in-between clients.
- Clients are encouraged to wait in their cars in case they are early.
- She starts on time with each client, therefore each client spends very little time in the waiting area and are immediately invited to the treatment space when they arrive.
- The treatment space utilizes an IQ air health pro which is a heavy duty hyper hepa filtration unit.
- The fan and A/C is on at all times to circulate air. The infrared heat unit is turned on in cold weather.
- CDC guidelines are followed in cleaning the treatment space
- e.g., cleaning all surfaces in between patients and use of a UV lamp on top of using CDC approved cleaning agents.
- Patients who are exhibiting any signs of sickness or who have been potentially been exposed are not seen in the clinic.
- Patients are asked to sign a COVID19 form to screen for any sickness or exposure.
- For all clients who do not want an in-person session, virtual sessions are available for a reduced cost
- The new space in Westlake will have an option to have the windows open during or in between treatment session
