Welcome to Ananda. Physical Therapy Office in Austin Texas.
Founder Dr. Maria La Putt

Dr. Maria La Putt,
PT, DPT, RYT, PMA®-CPT

Dr. Maria La Putt has a clinical doctorate in physical therapy and has over 18 years of real-world experience as a licensed physical therapist. She has over two decades of experience in the health and fitness industry.

Maria is not a typical physical therapist. She has gone through extensive training and continues to take continuing education courses multiple times a year. She has developed a unique approach in working with the human body. She treats each person as a whole individual and understands the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.

She thinks and treats out of the box and has helped multiple clients who have been unsuccessful with traditional therapy and medicine. She believes in the body’s innate ability to heal itself given the right path/guidance.

Maria’s own personal health and healing journey prompted her to become an expert therapist in the John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Approach®. She is also a Certified Pilates Teacher in the Polestar® Pilates for Rehabilitation system. She is a registered yoga teacher and has practiced yoga for more than two decades.

She is currently preparing to obtain her certifications in visceral and neural manipulation under the Barral Institute. She has also trained with Dr. Daniel Vladeta and incorporates the OOV in her sessions.

She has an understanding and training in various forms of energy work and is utilizing it to treat her clients in-person or virtually.

Maria’s skill set enables her to treat a wide range of clientele from newborns to adults of all ages, with a wide range of diagnosis, from simple to complex and from to wellness and preventative care.
